#16 Chemo #4 and Fun with Wigs!

Here is a video of Chemo #4. The last of the Red Devil (Adriamycin Cytoxin).  I get one week off and then I start the second phase, which will be 12 weeks, beginning August 17th, once a week, every Thursday till Thanksgiving.

Click below for the video.

I decided to get a wig since it is covered 100% by insurance–only if it is synthetic hair.  Human hair isn’t covered but really I don’t mind, I’m not really going to wear it much.  I wanted it more so that I could hide my bald head from my grandmother.  She is 86-years-old and has no clue about what’s going on with her eldest grandchild.  She’s coming to visit in a couple of weeks and I’m hoping to throw her off with the wig.

Here are some photos of me trying on different wigs.

And the winner is…Wig #1.  I think I look like Tina Turner! LOL!

But this is the wig I really want!

And this is more how I look normally.  This was taken Thursday, 8/3/17, after Chemo #4.  I went to pick up Noah at Nana’s house.

Noah cuddled right into my arms. I missed him and he missed me!

This is Noah this morning.  We slept over Nana’s last night as I was not feeling well yesterday and needed some help.  And Daddy was able to catch up on some sleep too!

Be blessed this Saturday everyone.  Every day alive is a good day!

Hebrews 11:1 says, “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.”

In love and Christ,

Liz and Noah
